VOYAGE Select Diving by Appointment

VOYAGE charters offers in-house certified SCUBA Dive Masters, by appointment, for all crewed yachts. The VOYAGE Dive Masters will arrange to meet your yacht at a dive location and lead your party when you wish to SCUBA dive.  Alternatively, you may prefer to have the Dive Master come to your yacht and take you via fast tender to the dive site, allowing non-diving guests in your party to enjoy alternate activities either onboard or ashore while you explore the undersea beauty of the BVI. 

DIVE SITE GUIDE

Your crew can schedule a dive a day within the Sir Francis Drake Channel.  Dive times are scheduled at 9:00 am, NOON, and 3:00 pm.   This schedule allows divers to enjoy the best light and visibility at all the spectacular sites located between Norman, Peter, Salt and Cooper Islands. SCUBA diving will be based on your yacht location and the weather conditions each day.  

VOYAGE charters ensures each client a high-quality, luxury experience by providing the most qualified Dive Masters and professional crews available during your charter vacation.  As with every aspect of your VOYAGE charters sailing vacation, our SCUBA diving program is tailored towards your enjoyment and safety.  The fee for the Select Diving by Appointment is $35 per dive for certified divers, (payable in cash to the Dive Master).  This fee includes SCUBA equipment, air fills, Dive Master’s service, and transportation to the dive site.  We do not provide wet suits or dive lights.  Gratuity for the Dive Master is not included in this fee.

Divers must bring their original certification cards and log books with them if SCUBA diving.  If you are a certified diver over 50 years old or if you have had any serious illnesses or operations since certification, we request that you consult with a physician prior to participating in SCUBA diving. Please bring a physician’s letter verifying that you are physically fit to SCUBA dive. If you have not been diving in the last two years you should take a refresher course with a local operator.

VOYAGE Dive Masters are able to lead certified divers. SCUBA instruction, diving courses and open water completion courses can be arranged in advance with a local dive operator. If you are considering becoming certified before your vacation, you can complete your open water dives in the BVI’s.  This is known as an open water referral and involves four dives over two days with a dive instructor.   We recommend Blue Water Divers, located in Sopers Hole next to the VOYAGE charter base.
